Weicon Tools Electrician Scissors XL
The manufacturer Weicon Tools has developed a universally applicable tool for three of the most common areas of application in electrical installation – the Electrician Scissors XL.
Universally applicable
The
Electrician Scissors XL have been developed for three different areas of
application: cutting, stripping and crimping. The scissors have been designed
so that they can be used in many situations in everyday working life, making
them a useful addition to other electrical tools. They have been specially
tailored to the needs of professional users and are used in both trade and
industry.
Cutting, stripping and crimping
The cable shears are used for cutting and stripping Cu/Al cables and crimping wire end ferrules from 0.5-6 mm². The shears are characterised by a very high cutting performance. It cuts fine-stranded copper and aluminium cables up to a cross-section of 50 mm². In addition to cutting, wires and cables can be stripped quickly and easily with the special tool. The cable is held in the trough during the cutting process.
The fine micro-serration of the blades enables flush and slip-free cutting, resulting in a precise cut.
Ergonomics
and safety
The handle diameter of the
scissors is extra-large and ergonomically designed, making it comfortable and
fatigue-free to work with, even over long periods of use. The non-slip
2-component handles made of impact-resistant glass fibre reinforced plastic ensure
safe working.
The tool comes with a practical safety box with belt clip for safe storage. The scissors are 160 mm long, weigh 140 grams and are supplied in recyclable cardboard packaging.
